It was first mentioned in the Upcoming Events section in issue #484 of the Club Penguin Times. Gameplay is largely the same as the online version of SoundStudio, but players were required to sign into a Club Penguin account to play. With membership, all tracks could be accessed and tracks could be recorded, but without membership, these features could be bought with in-app purchases. As of January 11th, 2016, the app has been retired, along with the Sled Racer app. This choice was made "to put more focus into Project: Super Secret".
